B Squared Software Development Ltd is a UK limited company, incorporated on 5 June 2026 and registered for VAT. The work — scoping it, building it, deploying it and keeping it running — is done end to end by Brandon Bridges.
B Squared is a limited company rather than a freelancer with an invoice template: registered at Companies House, registered for VAT, and answerable for the work in the way a company is.
It is small deliberately, not on the way to becoming an agency. Staying at one engineer removes the two things that most often go wrong on a software project — work handed between people who each understand only part of it, and a commercial reason to keep the hours running.

He scopes the work, writes it, deploys it, and is the person you speak to when something is wrong. There is nobody to escalate to, which is the point of the arrangement rather than a gap in it.

Worth putting up front, because you would find it out anyway — and because the answer to each of these is the reason the company is built the way it is.
You are hiring one person
That is a single point of failure, and pretending otherwise would be insulting. The answer is structural rather than reassuring: the code sits in your repositories, the infrastructure in your accounts, deployment is automated and the decisions are written down. Another engineer can pick it up without an introduction.
Capacity is finite, and said out loud
One engineer can hold only so much at once. If the deadline needs more hands than that, you hear it on the first call rather than a fortnight before the date.
Some work is the wrong shape for this
A team of five on day one, or a round-the-clock on-call rota, is not what this is. Better said before a contract than after one.
All of it is public record at Companies House. If you are about to hand a small supplier something the business depends on, it is worth five minutes to verify.
